ABOUT ME

My name is Jack. I am from the small town of Charlotte, Vermont. It is a rural, beautiful town bordering the beautiful Lake Champlain. I recently (December '13) graduated from Syracuse University. I have since traveled and enjoyed 6 months of freedom before starting a fulltime job 45 minutes north of Boston. I took full advantage of some time off between graduation and my start date for work. A few friends and I bought a 12-passenger Dodge B3500 van (know now as the submarine) and outfitted it for skiing. We proceeded to live out of the van for about 5 weeks through January and February as we traveled the west coast (CO, UT, WY, WA, British Columbia, etc.) visiting friends, skiing and enjoying the occasional (or frequent ice cold beverage. Then in the spring, I decide to live it up once more before the real world hits and I flew off for some seasonal change, landing myself in New Zealand (going from Spring in VT to Fall in NZ).I have had always loved to travel and experience cultures and life across the US, North America and abroad. Beyond my travels, I have many different interests including just about all sports... skiing, hiking, soccer, basketball, i am passionate about photography, boating, jet-skiing and being outdoors. I am looking foward to meeting you!

I am a huge fan of CSing, most of my favorite memories from travels have come from connections and opportunities that CS helped generate. I love the trust factor that CS relies on and I believe in part that at this trust and sense of adventure seems to be lost in society.

Driving from Jackson Hole up and through to Teton National Park. The view as soon as you come into the park and take a bending turn the expansive view of the mountains is breathtaking.

Driving through rivers, ruts and around cows, sheep and chickens to go hiking in NZ. Some of the most stunning and beautiful moments ever.
