ABOUT ME
I spent two years as a missionary teaching in English and Spanish in TN. I flew in Zero Gravity while researching laser particle levitation. I backpacked Europe on my own for 2 1/2 weeks and then 1 1/2 weeks with some friends. I studied Spanish in Spain. I researched the effects of relativistic corrections on a chaotic system of stars. I helped create the world's first power-generating zipline. I worked as the technical director for Empower Playgrounds helping to get them established in Ghana. I did a study abroad in Israel. I graduated on the flight home. I helped start another non-profit before going off to Hawaii to train dolphins. I currently work as a Geophysicist for Schlumberger.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too short not to live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, after hearing about my travels I've had a number of friends suggest this site. I love meeting new and interesting people and thought this could be cool.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing, both hosting and being hosted, has all been through friends met in real life. One of the best experiences was when I ended up on a yacht in Napoli, Italy.
Interests
You name it and I've probably been interested in it, am interested in it, or will be at some point.
