ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I love watching movies, especially romantic comedies, and listening to music. I have a dog back home, so being away from her is very hard! I have been vegetarian since I was about ten, and don't plan on ever going back. I try to stay positive as much as I can, and take in the beauty that surrounds me. That's me in a nutshell!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that life is really hard, and it takes your whole life to figure out your purpose on this earth. I understand Buddhism the most, because it is personal and allows you to find spirituality on your own terms. I fully support the concepts of peace and kindness, and try to follow them whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had two amazing couchsurfing experiences, one in Szczecin, Poland, and one in Sandefjord, Norway. They went above and beyond what we could have expected, and it was an amazing way to see new places.

兴趣

I enjoy cooking and eating new kinds of food. I like spending my time traveling, but I also enjoy having down time to relax and catch up on some movies or TV shows. I like to wakeboard in the summer, and downhill ski in the winter. I also love taking pictures wherever I go, capturing moments that I can go back to.

Because I am constantly watching new movies, it's hard for me to pick a favorite! I love romances, comedies, foreign films, and the occasional action movie! I like music such as Ben Folds, The Avett Brothers, Ludo, Mat Kearny, and Thriving Ivory. I enjoy reading, but it takes me a while to find books I really click with! Now I am reading The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid.

I would definitely say hitchhiking from Scotland to Morocco was one of the most amazing things I've done. And seeing the views of the great ocean road in Australia from a helicopter.
