About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to meet people from all over the world and grow from them.
ABOUT ME
I'm at that great point of my life where I've graduated college but am putting off work for now. I plan on traveling as much as my savings will allow before I settle down with a career. I am very open-minded and love meeting people from all walks of life. I value personal experiences and would love to meet up with any genuine person for good conversation:)
PHILOSOPHY
Be here now
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am fairly new to the couchsurfing community but my couch is always open when I am not off on my own adventures
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had much experience yet, but hopefully my upcoming trips to Central America and Europe will change that. Also, have a very hospitable pad in Portland, OR for those who are interested
Interests
I value good health so really enjoy hiking, biking, and outdoor adventure in general. I try to not let unfavorable weather conditions bother me so I stay active year-round. I am very anti-TV but love to read, play guitar, harmonica, and anything else that makes noise. I try to be creative as much as I can, and also enjoy trying new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt, and Johnny Cash are among my favorite singer-songwriter types. I like listening to a wide variety of music and often change genres daily. I also get down with a lot of hip-hop; A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, Cool Kids, etc.As far as literature goes, I really like Jack Kerouac, Edward Abbey, Ernest Hemingway, and many many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have driven all over the United States, and have really enjoyed meeting people from different backgrounds all over the country. My favorite road trip took me 5,600 miles in eight days with highlights including trekking through the Rocky Mountains, cruising the strip in Las Vegas, hanging out with the homeless on the beaches of Los Angeles, climbing Mt. Lemmon on the Arizona-Mexico border, and getting jazzy on the streets of New Orleans.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have my degree in Mathematics and always enjoy talking Math. However, that rarely happens and most people roll there eyes quickly upon learning that. I consider myself fairly well-read so also really enjoy discussing literature, music, and anything else mindful.
