ABOUT ME

I'm a fairly friendly, easy-going person. I like to think of myself as tolerant and flexible, able to get along with most people and to adapt to most situations easily. I grew up in New York City, but have moved around a bit since graduating high school. I went to college in Colorado, and have lived in California, Taiwan, Japan and currently Massachusetts.
I love to travel, but haven't had much chance to recently, so I decided to quit my job and take some time off to visit a few places that have been on my list.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined CS recently but hope to participate first as a guest--I am taking the next year off to travel around the world-- and then as a host, once I have a place of my own again!

Interests

I enjoy most outdoor activities, especially biking (mostly mountain, but also road,kayaking (though I'm not that good yet), and hiking/camping.
I also love to cook and try new foods.
