Hi! I like to see myself as a person who is easy to approach and has time to help others, is curious and makes observations about the surrounding world, rarely follows crowds, and is ready for new ideas. Others have described me as "easy to be around", "top", "the most irritating nerd" they have ever met, and "Russian canned food".

I invite you to contact me, which is the only way to find out the truth. Well, besides googling. Most of the time, I'm available for a cup of coffee and in Helsinki, with some local knowledge about the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed two couches and seen some fascinating local places and people I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

Interests

Swimming, bike trips, caves, waterfalls, furry animals, cooking, art that involves things with moving parts, psychology, friends, bars, music, comedy, voluntary work. And cakes and stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll just mention one book I like, Life of Pi by Yann Martel, and one band, Electric Light Orchestra. And at the risk of getting fired, I must say that the movie Office Space touches my soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of active volcanoes. Amazing indeed. And I saw our hamster eat her way through the ceiling once. Did happen, have pictures.
