ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jessica. I am 24 years old. My husband Ryan and I are planning our backing trip to Europe this summer! We are extremely excited and can't wait to explore some pretty amazing countries! We hope to meet some really neat people on our way, and we figured Couch Surfing would be the perfect way to do that. We are both from around Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where we also currently live. We are truly blessed to live so close to some of the most amazing scenery in the world...the Rocky Mountains!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are Couch Surfing our way through Europe, and loving every minute of it!! And then when we get back we would love to try our hands at hosting people from all over the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had the opportunity to Surf in several different countries throughout Europe and have have the even greater opportunity to meet many amazing people!

Interests

Hiking, kayaking, rollerblading, photography, photo editing, sports (hockey-Calgary Flames and soccer-Chelsea FC), movies, music, singing, shopping, reading, games (card games, board games, any kind of games), travelling and seeing new places, and many, many more things!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have way to many favorite movies to list, but my favorite genres are horror, thriller, suspense and drama. My three favorite book series are Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, and the Chronicles of Narnia. I listen to alot of different music artists, but my favorite right now are Birdy, Florence + the Machine, Adele, A Fine Frenzy, RED, Brooke Fraser, Flyleaf, Augustana, Hillsong United, William Fitzsimmons, and the Fray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking through Kananaskis Country, and hiking through Alberta's badlands at Dinosaur Provincial Park. I won a trip to Jamaica this February which was amazing! We also did some sport camps/English camps for kids in Italy a few years ago which was an awesome experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

We know a bunch of awesome card games, but we are always looking for different ones to learn too! We also are interested in learning about the different cultures we will encounter and the many places we hope to see! We have a huge passion for music and can expand your iTunes collection!
