Overview
About Me
I'm a British-born Chinese, and grew up in St Helens, Merseyside. I am an emergency physician, and living in Leeds. I am a keen cyclist, runner, occasional boulderer and mini-adventurer, sometimes baker (mostly bread), politically engaged (I ran in the General Election in 2015), and I'm passionate about environmental and social justice issues.
And I have a cat. She's adorable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have inadvertently couchsurfed in France, Poland, Croatia waaay back when I hitchhiked across Europe in 2007.
I'm keen to repay the generosity of 'strangers' by hosting them in my home, or showing them around Yorkshire.
In January, I'm planning a short Inter-rail journey across Europe and will hopefully meet nice people en route!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Amazon... following pink and grey river dolphins, the eery mist of the upper rivers at dawn, abandoning our flooded campsite at night, fishing for piranha.
Hitching around Europe - the strange emotions that you experience day to day, that become normal, because of the abnormal situation I put myself in routinely.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to bake bread! Or medical stuff...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, bed, internet, shower, garden, maybe a ride in the car if convenient.
