I am at my very best when I'm carrying all my possessions with me on my back and traveling somewhere. I get life out of being challenged, seeing the world through new eyes, and relearning everything I once thought I knew. Taking pictures is what I love. I am addicted to beauty and to finding it, remembering it, capturing it, and being changed by it.
I love new places, interesting people, and well lived life.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, rented a car in South Africa and gotten lost on roads with hippopotamus crossing signs, tracked a wild rhinoceros until I realized just how BIG they really are, Drove the Sani mountain pass of Lesotho in a 2WD Hyundai, slept in between the huts of a Mozambican village, ridden Lebanese buses in Hezbollah territory, slept under Jordanian desert stars, been stranded on Egyptian trains, Narrowly avoided shelling along the Syrian borders, and bounced over Haitian roads that made the pickup feel like a mechanical bull.
