About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be involved in my community/surroundings, regardless of where they are spatially located.

ABOUT ME

I try not to take myself too seriously. Seems like it's a problem these days with many people. I just want to be amiable and charming to everyone I meet

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not one to live by my beliefs for very long before they change, and at this point in writing a catchy, eye-grabbing profile, most people have likely decided to host me or not based purely on my picture or a coin flip. I already feel like a windbag from the last few questions. But I will talk a person's ear off about personal philosophies in person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

spontaneous, uninhibited dancing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a number of times in the UK, and have never had a bad experience. Hosts have always been most hospitable and generous, and I plan on emulating that with my own hosting. I have just moved into a new place in Madison and am looking forward to getting some requests!

Interests

Community organizing, local music, discussing personal views on metaphysics with friendly strangers, heavy old bikes, life hacking, dive bars, good beer and homebrewing, sitting on porches watching people, woody words.

Music, Movies, and Books

camp horror and sci fi movies
books that have good covers (but not limited to)
and lots of music, but particularly locally grown stuff that doesn't get ahead of itself
Other than that there's also Man Man, Zappa, Leon Russell, The Band, ELO, Steely Dan, Black Keys, Bikini Kill, Ween, to name a few. And lately I'm listening to a lot of music that's described as "wob-wob" and "crunchy"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most impressive/stupid things I have ever done always involve transporting very large objects with my very small car. I've done everything from three piece sectional couches, to 17ft. long canoes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cook, I brew beer, and I fix bikes. Oh and i knit now too! I keep forgetting!

France, Germany, Ireland, United Kingdom, Virgin Islands, British
