I'm an open minded guy working as a policy adviser for a mayor of Africa's biggest city Johannesburg.

I am open-minded, easy-going and always up for a good time. I love live music (especially indie and electro), all kinds of bars, good food, being active and outdoors, reading and politics.

While I'm in the US, I have quite a busy schedule, but I am looking to spend my free time doing fun stuff. I am based in Bridgewater, where there is very little to do, so I plan on visiting Boston or some of the other cities in the surrounding area a few times.

In my professional life I am exposed to politics, local government and policy, so would love to link up with people working in similar areas to share ideas and experiences.

Books: I love travel novels (On the Road, Motorcycle Diaries); anything by the Beat writers; modern classics, WWII literature, fantasy, non-fiction.
Music: indie rock is my favourite, but I have a love for music that crosses genres. As long as it's good, I can listen to it.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I think one of the highlights of my life is the Otter Trail, a 5 day walking trail on the East Coast of South Africa. Even though I've travelled quite a lot during my life, that untouched stretch of coast line must the most beautiful place that I've ever seen.

I also spent a month working in a hostel in Budapest. Met awesome people and created memories that will never be forgotten.

When visiting me in Cape Town, I can give you a tour of the Parliamentary district with some inside knowledge. I'm now pretty well aware of the cool spots to eat and drink in Cape Town and I'm a huge fan of hiking and trail running.
