About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live authentically in that crux, finding joy and beauty wedged there.

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011. I've spent some time living abroad and alot of time traveling around the Western United States. I consider myself adventurous and open-minded, a combination which has led me to have many new, epic, and fun life experiences. I'm the type of person that would rather spend my money on experiencing or seeing something new, rather then a new pair of designer jeans. I really enjoy being a guide for people in places they've never been and showing them a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

You're already home where you feel love.

Never Stop Exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not quite settled into a spot where I can start hosting, but I hope to be soon. In the meantime, I'm looking to get my feet wet and start doing some surfing, meet new people, and hopefully learn and see something new along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple couchsurfing type experiences while hitchhiking around the South Pacific, but not through the 'Couchsurfing' network yet. In my travels I have been blown away by the generosity of locals and fellow travelers. It's refreshing to see such goodwill and trust. I look forward to paying it forward to fellow travelers and keeping the sense of adventure alive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2011 I spent nearly a month hiking the John Muir Trail in the High Sierra Nevada Mountains in CA. The journey was some 250 miles of the most beautiful terrain this country has to offer. It was great to be able to simplify your life into one backpack. The ending was a sunrise from atop Mt. Whitney, 14,505 ft, the highest mountain in the contiguous U.S. Never have I felt as near the heart of the world as that moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are into climbing or always wanted to..I'll show you the ropes and see if we can get out to a local crag. If your visiting CA and heading to the Sierras or the Bay Area, I'll give you everything you need to know and share some of the best spots I've found over the years.
