Hello! My name is Joe, and I've travelled to Europe, Asia, and North and Central America.

My day job is in digital marketing and analytics... Which means lots of math, but I also am an 8 time Burning Man attendee (Burner), a fire spinner (dancer), and a number of other odd little mixes.

I've stayed in all sorts of travel accommodations, from high end hotels to an air mattress on the floor of someone I met on the train. I much prefer socializing and meeting people, and couchsurfing is perfect. I haven't had the opportunity to use the service for housing myself, but my old roommate used to be a host and had a number of fun, fascinating experiences.

I love bicycling, performing fire dancing (I spin poi, staff, rope dart, and a couple other things), meeting people, and debating. I don't think I need to mention travel, right? I also was a history major back in college.

My favorite books are Douglas Adams and his Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. That weird, British sense of humor just kills me.

It's hard to list favorite movies and music, but I enjoy everything from rock to electroswing to funky disco to glitch and breaks.
