I have decided to take a year off from the ordinary life, making a sabbatical (gap year) in 2023.
Of course, I plan to use this year to follow my passion for traveling, collecting new experiences and broadening my horizon.

An additional target is to learn Spanish during the coming twelve months. Any support from patient teachers is appreciated. ;-)

My journey will start end of December, 2022 and I am planning to visit the following countries:
Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, USA, Kenia, Tanzania, South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia

Getting to know people is a great way - or even the best - to familiarize yourself with new countries and cultures, taking on new perspectives. While I was staying in Brazil for three months, I met a lot of great people thanks to Courchsurfing who significantly enriched my stay. Now, I am hoping to repeat this throughout my travels for the next twelve months.

兴趣

Actually, I am a very curious and open-minded person by nature. Besides, my general interest for spending time outdoors and sports, I am always eager to explore and learn something new which is why I enjoy traveling very much. It is always a precious experience to get to know new countries, cultures, people or new activities.

Luckily, there are too many great experiences to just name one "great":
- diving in the Red Sea,
- staring at the sky within the desert of Wadi Rum
- gazing at the Great Pyramid of Gizeh
- watching humpback whales and Orcas

I consider myself a very lucky person as I had the chance so far to make a lot of different experiences in my business and personal life. If you are interested, I will gladly share one or the other story over a good meal or drink.

Despite of all what I was writing so far, I am a very easy-going person and appreciate sharing a laugh when hitting the road together.
