ABOUT ME

I own a few web based businesses and have for almost 20 years now. I really enjoy my job and all the fantastic people I work with. It is a great thing to look forward to going to work every day. Of course owning any business can cause a lot of stress at times, and this is no exception. There have definitely been times when I have looked at the books and thought about doing something else, but I am really glad to be where I am now.

For many years now I have been a performance swing and ballroom dancer. I cut back on the performance several years ago when it became more of a job and I stopped enjoying it. Now I go swing dancing at least a few times a month and I will usually go ballroom dancing about once every other month.

I used to travel all the time when I was younger, but then I started a company. I thought it would give me more freedom. Well that didn't work out, at least not for the first decade or so. Now the company is getting more settled and business is doing well, so I have more chances to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to dance, I like to sing, I like to travel, and I like to do new things as regularly as possible.

Music: I listen to everything. Mostly get my music from Pandora.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The view of a lone windsurfer in the middle of Loch Ness, Fireworks over the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day, the sight of the sun setting over the Greek islands from my hostel in Ios, the amazing masses of people in Shimbuya Square, and the sun setting through the Georgia trees out on the Appalachian Trail.
