Me? Haha, well, I’d say my life motto is “Do my best, so I can’t blame myself for anything later” — that way, even when things go sideways, at least I know I gave it my all! I’m a pretty easygoing, simple person who tries to make the most out of every day. Most of the time, I’m more of an introvert (the “quiet observer at the corner” type), but once I warm up, I can be surprisingly outgoing — like a social ninja who appears when least expected! 😄

I’ve been working as a bartender here in Malta for almost four years now, originally from the Philippines — so if you ever need good vibes and a good drink, I’ve got you covered! 🍹

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve been traveling since I was 20, and lately I’ve been all over Europe — meeting tons of fellow travelers along the way. Everyone kept talking about couchsurfing, and honestly, I had no clue what it was at first. I just kept nodding like, “Oh yeah, totally… couches… surfing… sounds fun?” 😅 Eventually curiosity won, so here I am — downloaded the app and joined the adventure!

But really, the main reason I’m here is because I’m endlessly fascinated by what the world has to offer. I believe the best way to truly understand life is by traveling to different places, meeting people from all walks of life, sharing stories, learning about cultures and traditions — and hopefully helping and connecting with those who share the same passion for exploring this crazy, beautiful planet. 🌍✨

I’d like to say, “We sometimes encounter people — even perfect strangers — who instantly catch our interest, all at once, before a single word is spoken.” I really believe that there’s always so much more to learn, and the best lessons often come from the people we meet along the way.
