About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get the know the world and the people who live in it. To gain wisdom through travel and the interaction with other cultures.

ABOUT ME

I am kind, considerate, have an adventurous and free spirit, love to travel and meet new people. I enjoy the company of others. Like trying new things and engaging in new experiences, hence the love of travel. Open-minded to new ideas and new ways of life. I am college educated. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Studies from St. John's University. Love to party or simply chat over a cold one. Easy-going and prefer to go with the flow. I currently work as Project Coordinator for the Nonprofit, Future Scientist, Inc. (futurescientist.org).

PHILOSOPHY

Golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated. Show respect to people and cultures, the difference between the peoples of the Earth is what makes humanity so damn fascinating. Education and learning do not end with schooling. Show LOVE

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used Couchsurfing whilst traveling in Europe. I now am a Peace Corps volunteer in Panama in the Comarca Ngabe-Bugle and am opening up my house to teach people about the indigenous culture of the Ngabe people and to provide a different experience for travelers in Panama.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed on two couches in Budapest and they were both very positive experiences! I also surfed in Lisbon, Amsterdam, Munich, Barcelona, and Marseilles. All were positive experiences and I am looking forward for more unique Couchsurfing adventures.

Interests

I like to read, play sports and travel. Enjoy learning about different cultures and walks of life. I like to ride motorcycles and the intimate connection to the road that it gives a person.
