ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm from Chicago, IL~ USA and at the moment I am working in Strasbourg, France as an English Language teacher's assistant. I am thrilled to be back in Europe for another adventure!

Salut! Je suis de Chicago (Etats-Unis) et au moment je travaille à Strasbourg, France comme assistante de langue anglaise. Je suis ravie de me trouver encore en Europe pour une nouvelle aventure!

Interests

I love theatrical performance, volleyball, swimming, and dance. If I had the money, I would definitely buy a boat! I have lived near water my whole life and I love being out on a lake or the sea.

J'adore jouer au théâtre et faire du volley, de la natation, et de la danse. Si j'avais assez d'argent j’achèterais un bateau! Je vis près de l'eau depuis toute ma vie et j'aime passer la journée sur le lac ou la mer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have very eclectic tastes and I love when a friend introduces me to a new artist/author. I will read most anything and now that I am no longer a student I have more time to pick up a book for fun. Any suggestions?
As far a music goes, I suppose I gravitate more to blues and rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had once visited Cinque Terre (a series of 5 small villages on the west coast of Italy) for a day trip and was totally blown away by its beauty. I was sad that I couldn't spend the night and wondered what the towns were like after all the tourists had left. Two years later I altered my traveling plans and detoured to Cinque Terre. I spent the day hiking through the mountain trails, then I grabbed a beer and an apple from a deli then sat on the rocks and watched the sun go down over the water. It was just as beautiful as I thought it would be.
