We both grew in and around Toronto and absolutely love our city. We've travelled around to many places on earth and we are still proud to call Toronto home. Currently traveling for a year and a half in Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have used the service extensively through our travels and plan to continue doing so. We also love hosting and can't think of a better way to invite like-minded people into our home and to see our great city. It's a great way to get to know locals and have/share authentic experiences.
Rock climbing, camping, hiking (trekking) and partaking in various other outdoor activities plays a major part in our lives. We love watching movies and TV shows (though we can be quite picky). We love hanging out with family and friends, as well as having intellectual conversations about anything and everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - we LOVE drum & bass and house music, otherwise we also enjoy rock, hip-hop, and pretty much anything else people introduce us to.
Movies - we like a wide variety of movies, particularly documentaries and epic dramas.
Books - we read mostly non-fiction, but we do enjoy the occasional fiction book as well. Some non-fiction authors include Sam Harris, Frans de Waal, Yuval Harari. Fiction authors: Neil Gamen, Brandon Sanderson
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
November 2015, we quit our jobs to embark on a 2.5-year journey. First we travelled around North America for 10 months in a van - visiting cities, national parks, and various rock climbing areas.
Now we're wandering around Asia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We're very neat guests and follow the golden rule of "treat others as you would like to be treated."
We usually cook food for our hosts at least once if we have the time.
We can also give some great documentary recommendations!
