ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Jose and I am here to start a new experience with Couchsurfing! =) I am a tranquil, an open-minded and nice person who would like to share good moments with new people; to travel and to know different cultures. I am from the south of Granada, living in a coastal village. This area is very nice and one of the things I love is the weather (good temperature most of the year). Furthermore, there are several historical monuments and interesting little villages around. I have finished a degree in English Studies (Literature/Linguistics) and a master degree in Teaching Languages. Now, I am training-studying to become a teacher in Spain. However, I would like to go abroad and teach my mother tongue for several years.

Centres d'intérêt

There are many things I am interested in... In a few lines: I do love travelling, to meet new people, to visit places and to get immersed in the host culture. Futhermore, one of my favourite hobbies is to play the guitar (although I am not a professional, I have been playing it since I was 8). Also I love animals (dogs mainly) and to be near the sea. However, some sports are not my strong point that's why I practice running, cycling and swimming. Probably I have more interests, so if you are curious aske me!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like all types of music and one of my hobbies is to play the guitar. If you are a guitarist I will be delighted to listen to your music! =) Sorry, but I do not like just reading...I analyze books! =D Actually I am reading a funny novel by Martin Amis (a 21stC English writer). My favorite book is 'Romancero Gitano' by García Lorca (a writer, playwrigt and poet from Granada; he is one of the most remarkable writers in/from Spain).

I am training-studying hard to become a teacher and I like to learn, share my knowledge with people and tell stories about the area I am living in: South of Granada or also known as Costa Tropical. It is an area very rich historically. Would you like to know more about it?
