About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Resisting the temptation to add coffee to my afternoon routine...

ABOUT ME

I am an aspiring elementary teacher and world traveler, I don't think there is anywhere I would not go if given the opportunity! I have lived in Colorado all my life, a fantastic state, but I want to see more of the world and plan to move somewhere warmer by next fall. I am exploring Austin and Nashville as options...

PHILOSOPHY

It probably changes a lot...and I like change; live your life without regrets and seize the moment to do something amazing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started, but I have been wanting to join this amazing project for a long time now. I hope to utilize it more and more in the future as I start traveling more once again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only enthusiastic conversations, but hopefully that changes real soon!

Interests

Traveling, music (playing piano, singing, listening, etc.), reading any number of things, hiking and being outside, skiing, being active, coffee sipping, water gulping, cooking delicious food and baking yummy treats (and eating them of course!), photography and art, interior decorating and design, meeting and knowing interesting people, wandering around to get to know a city or place...

Music, Movies, and Books

Can't quote a movie to save my life (I don't see many), but I love music and reading, classic to contemporary, rap to country, fiction to non, newspaper or reference book, I enjoy them all...and I am always interested to hear or read more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked throughout Europe for two months after a semester studying in Spain...while there, I yodeled in the Swiss Alps and ate the best Nutella gelato in Italy (the competition awards each flavor), and watch 5 story tall paper mache like figures burn down in the streets of Valencia...

Teach, Learn, Share

This is my job description, to teach and share knowledge with others...I can only be the best teacher by continued learning. Something I just learned? Wild almonds are poisonous and the Callina winery in Argentina makes a good Chardonnay ( I usually don't like chards either!)
