I was raised for half of my life in Tampico, Tamps, Mexico and the other half in Austin, TX, USA. I studied at the University of Texas and major in radio-film- television and Spanish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just joining this because my friends tell me that its a great way of meeting interesting people and that it will help me a lot when I travel around the world. If I had a home of my own I would love to have people but it will have to wait until 2012.

Interests

I love sports (soccer, American football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf), films (foreign and independent), and music (indie rock, Brit pop, garage rock, 60s music). My favorite thing to do on a perfect weekend is to see some good live bands.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite film has to be Oldboy and I love foreign films. Subtitles don't bother me and I love learning about other countries through their films. Independent American films are also very good. And of course, I'll watch some blockbusters but mostly I focus on watching films that are interesting rather than popular.

Music: I grew up obsessed with Oasis and the Brit pop movement. Top five bands in my life: 1. Oasis 2. The Kinks 3. The Beatles 4. The Strokes 5. The Smiths
