About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish grad school, become gainfully employed, put down roots.
ABOUT ME
I write poetry and study things that go bump in the night. I love water (though I don't swim well), forests, mountains, and living things. The more of these components in my life at any given time, the happier you can expect me to be. I would like to be able to say I have stepped on every continent and swam in every ocean (even the cold ones). My count is 2 and 2; I have a long way to go.
PHILOSOPHY
Honor all persons
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My most memorable experience couchsurfing: Lima, Peru after an overnight flight, I curled up in a pile on the floor with other members of my class and later the best random mother figure ever made us this huge breakfast and was convinced that we were starving so she kept shoveling food in.
Also I spent this summer (06) bouncing from couch to couch so that I could stay up near Boston and work. It was an adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't watch TV. Books are better and more portable.
Authors I fancy: Steinkbeck, George Orwell, Ray Bradbury, C. S. Lewis, Lewis Carrol, e e cummings, Edgar Allen Poe, Madeline L'engle, Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Heinlein.
Movies I enjoy: Finding Nemo, The Princess Bride, The Hanible Lector 3, V for Vendetta, Lucky Number Slevin, March of the Penguins, The Gods Must Be Crazy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have held a vampire bat, eaten worms and tadpoles on a dare, identified my own parasites, slept on the beach, danced under the stars, collected pictures of stop signs, and written poetry

A lance is something like a spear used through people or fish. It is also the action of throughing. A lancet is a small dissecting style knife and a common surgical instrument. A lancelet is not quite a fish proper and smaller than a lancet. A Lancelot is a sir and a legend. You could lance a Lancelot with a lance or a lancet but only lance a lancelet with a lancet if you caught it. Got it?
No English words rhyme with April or eighth.
Strongulocentrotus droebachiensis- The Green Sea Urchin, native to the coast of New England and very fun to say.
