Hey everyone! I'm an aspiring music historian, and just started the doctoral program at Cornell, so pretty much all of my time has been devoted to that! (reading, writing, teaching, caffeination, etc.)

Other than school-related things, I spend most of my time doddling around with friends doing the usual thing people usually do in smalltown Ithaca – wander the gorges, popping into restaurants, biking, drinking espressos (constantly) and the occasional brewski, picnics in the summer, warmth indoors during the winter, often listening to music, checking out books, and so on. If you like any of these – mainly just plain old chatting! – let's hangggg.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I moved to Ithaca from Chicago a couple of years ago, and my roommate at the time hosted a steady flow of couchsurfers. All seem to have had a positive experience.

I just stayed with some hosts in Germany and had some great conversations, dipped into some night life, made food, and played many-a-card-game.

兴趣

Music is an important part of my life, mostly classical stuff, I guess, but also a very healthy dosing of loud noisy things. I'm also trying to brush up on my Spanish, and continue doing German. Both are pretty shoddy, but I've worked with them in the past and would love to revive them with some fellow couchsurfers!
