About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Opportunities are for taking, success is for making.
ABOUT ME
I love taking advantage of all the wonderful things our world has to offer. How do I accomplish this, you ask? By meeting and learning what I can from new people, trying out new eateries, traveling when I can, and learning about new places when I cannot.
Growing up in a liberal college town has led me to be very open-minded; almost to a fault. I will talk to anyone, and think everyone deserves a chance! I can't say that I fit into any one "niche," and have good friends from all walks of life. All I require is that someone be genuine, and I will be the best friend I can be!
PHILOSOPHY
When I'm at the end of my days, I want to think back over all that I've done and seen in my life and smile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I've been interested in couch surfing awhile, I haven't had the opportunity to host or travel yet. But everyone has to start somewhere, right?
Even if I can't host someone, I would always be up for a drink or showing someone around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never heard a single bad thing about a couch surfer's experience, so I'm looking forward to making some memories of my own!
Interests
I love baking, cooking, and trying out all kinds of new recipes. My favorites are usually more towards the international foods, but I have nothing against some of the good American classics as well.
I adore all animals, and especially love dogs. I could spend hours swapping stories of past/current pets.
The rest of my time mainly includes:
Reading, hiking, traveling, dining out, drinking, dancing, finding new music, scuba diving, driving, and just relaxing with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
science fiction mainly, but I'm trying to branch out and get into more of the classics as well.
as for movies, I really like everything as long as it's done well or makes me laugh. Ex: Mean Girls, A Brilliant Mind, About Schmidt, Taken, etc etc.
And music? I could go on for ages about this. I'm really into electronic, but also dabble in other genres as well. Some of my favorites: Arcade Fire, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, The Temper Trap, Arctic Monkeys, Bonobo, M83, Feist, Radiohead, etc etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a volcano in Indonesia in the dark and watched the sunrise at the summit.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love swapping knowledge, from crazy travel experiences to sharing a little of my knowledge about the world. Since I was also an international relations major for a couple years, I have combined my knowledge of the arts and of science to know a little about a lot.
Hence, I am a jack-of-all trades, and master of none.
