ABOUT ME

I was born and grew up in Edinburgh, but now I live in London.

Some basics about me: I don't eat meat from mammals, but I do eat fish. I like wine, all types but you can make me love you by giving me Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc. I would rather eat crisps than chocolate. Rather wear dresses than trousers. Prefer being warm than cold. I need coffee within half an hour of waking up or I am not anyones friend.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been helping plan events and meeting people through couchsurfing for many years. I've hosted a few people but only surfed once. Ready to change that though!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been a daily aspect of my life for over two years, there isn't a day that goes past when I don't check the website in some capacity. My best friends are couchsurfers, so even a standard night out is generally a CS night out, I love it!

兴趣

I'm not much of a hobby person, I spend most of my time either with friends or being completely lazy. I do like playing badminton though and love a good day out and about in country. I like to cook! It sucks cause I'm the only vegetarian in my house so making big complicated meals isn't too fun when it's just for one person.

My heart aches to be creative but I've yet to find any talent in the arts whatsoever. But you never know, something might pop up at some point!

I will literally dance to anything. My favourite music is generally of the indie/rock and roll/ electro persuation but I also like a bit of hip hop, chill-out and some thumping drum and bass every now and again. My favourites at the moment are Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Justice, Vampire Weekend and the ever present soundtrack to my life The Cat Empire.

I mainly like funny films, anything with Jim Carrey espcially more recent ones. PIXAR MOVIES! Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc. Mean Girls, Waynes World. Don't go to the cinema nearly enough though.

I have a terrible habit of finding a good book and sticking to it. So I don't read many new things but I do read a lot. My favourite books of all time are Junk by Melvin Burgess, A Million Little Pieces by James Frey and anything by Jane Austen, I've read all her books, I'm such a romantic at heart.
