Hello! I'm Jo and am studying in Hamburg, Germany. I was born in Malaysia but grew up in tiny Brunei on Borneo Island. I love reading, watching nature documentaries, going to concerts, canoeing and scuba diving. Currently I am studying Biology and am hoping to move to Berlin to pursue Masters in Biodiversity and Conservation. I would really love to one day be a part of an NGO and help in conserving marine biodiversity.
Growing up in a country as a foreigner, I was never very attached to a specific country which explains why I am always searching for new places and cultures to explore.

Unfortunately even though I love travelling, I'm a poor student.
BUT I also love meeting new people and having friends from all over the world and the idea of staying with people from the place I am visiting sounds like a perfect way to get a real cultural experience.

兴趣

I love attending concerts of my favorite artists whenever I can. There is truly a lot to be said about having your own voice weaved into a chorus as everyone is singing along and dancing! I've met some of my best friends through concerts.
I also love languages and I hope to one day speak French and Italian (and more languages) fluently.
