Travelling the east coast of Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia!

ABOUT ME

We're a supernice swedish couple (20 & 23 y.o) who's currently down undah to see the other side of the world, and experience it to the fullest!

We're both from a fairly small town in the southern part of Sweden called Lund, where we both grew up (we didn't know each other all this time though!). About a year ago we met and went to Oslo together (the capital of Norway) where we both worked at IKEA. The money we earned and saved is the money we now use to fund our trip.

At the moment we're travelling the east coast of Australia, finally ending up in Cairns around the 15th of January.

On Jan 20th our flight leaves for NZ where we will spend two weeks road tripping & camping on the South Island, and two weeks travelling with bus on the North Island. While there, our goal is to see & experience as much as possible of the beautiful nature!

Before heading back home to Sweden we're gonna spend a month on Bali, Gili Islands and Lombok in Indonesia. So far we haven't really planned what to do there, but we guess we'll just make it up as we go. :)

PHILOSOPHY

"It's not until you step out of your comfort zone that you really start living!"

We're both sort of the typical Swede sometimes - reserved and a bit shy, but we're really trying to embrace our philosophy and break out of it! :) That's why we've started couch surfing, something we wouldn't have done earlier! So far, we're not regretting a second of it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During our travels along the east coast of Oz we've stayed at a few different places while couch surfing. We have met lots of interesting, generous and kind people! It has been a great experience so far, we have had such a good time, eating well, watching films together - we've even got to feed alpacas! It really is the best way to travel.

Shark cage diving in Port Lincoln, South Australia. It was an incredible experience where we got to see Great Whites only a few meters in front of us!
