I'm Joana and I'm studying Media Production in Lemgo, a small town in Germany.

Besides my studies I'm working as a waitress and enjoy playing tennis and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like the most people here I really enjoy to travel. No matter of beeing in complete nature or doing city trips, I'm easily getting enthusiastic about beautiful new places.
As a teenager I did some language holidays where i stayed at host families and I liked a lot to get in touch with locals and get to know the culture. That's why I consider couchsurfing a good way to travel and learn about new cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Tongariro National Park in New Zealand. Getting up very early in the morning and driving to the start point, where it was freaking cold. But hiking during the sunrise and having such an amazing view was all worth it.
