life is a journey, not a destination.
I think writing something about yourself is one of the most diffcult tasks that exist.
In my spare time I like to go jogging and to read. There are so many books I want to read. I think if this continues I will have my own library one day. I also like to spend my time with friends. We like going to clubs but also to bars or just staying at home, cooking and watching a good movie or going to a park.
Although I am a quiet person, I like to make new contacts and go somewhere new. I like being somewhere where I have never been before and discover the world.
I also think that everybody has a themesong for their lives. This can change but it will always describe a person and the situation the person is in best. Right now, mine is probably Fly Away by Lenny Kravitz.
Jogging, reading, travelling, meeting new people and spending time with my friends. Sometimes I just sit there, stare out of the window and watch the world.
I also like to take many many photos and create a photo album with these. I would like to have albums from all the places I have been.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and more or less every movie with Johnny Depp. And more or less every Tim Burton movie: The Nightmare before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd...The Phantom of the Opera, Moulin Rouge.
My favourite book is the Harry Potter series, these made me love the English language. Also: His Dark Materials, Inkheart Trilogy, Inheritance Cycle...Fantasy is my favourite genre, it is a world full of imagination...
I have got a mixed taste in music, Die Toten Hosen (German rock band, Billy Talent, My Chemical Romance, The Subways, Deichkind (electro), Placebo, Linkin Park, Kings of Leon, King Charles, Kasabian...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Do you remember the first day when you moved away from home? I do. Firstly I thought "Why did you have to move so far away from home?" (The city I moved to was about 300 miles away from my hometown). I felt a bit lost and lonely. I did not know anybody or anything. But then I remembered the reason why I wanted to move there. I wanted to live somewhere else, far away from home, where I do not know anybody and nobody knows me and I thought "Stop complaining and go out!" So I went out of the front door and started to explore the city. And whoosh, I was lost. I thought the city was not that big but it was big enough to get lost. Good thing about German cities, the city centre is normally near the central station so I followed the signs. After an eternity I found the city centre and the first thing I did there was buying a city map.
