ABOUT ME

Morgane
I m the F.....Y girl ! Frenchy, Friendly & Funny !
I grew up in a quiet Paris' neighborhood. So quiet than as soon as I could I made my first "big travel" in Cambodia. We all say the same.. it changed my life =)
Since then I've spend a summer in Africa, a semester in California, a year in London, and finally a year in Brussels.

Joana
Grew up in Portugal were I've lived all my youngster years. Got the London calling after finishing the university studies. Since then my excitement and enjoy for travelling never stopped growing up!

Us
We've met in London while working in the same bar. Never been apart since then !
Joana is the wise and zen, Morgane the talkative and spontaneous side.
Together we are down to earth, easy going, and always ready to have some fun !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It s a small contribution, but I can advice you about France, London, and Brussels
If you host me, I can teach you french language, french food, french manicure (and obviously some french humor)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Morgane
My first CSexperience was in Copenhagen, four years ago. It was kind of crazy thing to do, Couch surfing wasn't so famous (at least in France) by this time !
And now I can't think "travel" without "CS".

It s the best way to discover the real mood and the secret life of the city!

Joana
Apart from "squatting" the couch of some friends I never actually had a real experience of CS. I've heard so many experiences and good feedback of friends that I'm really thrilled to start!

Interests

We love cinema, arts in general,reading, cooking (and eating!!), making cocktails (and drinking!!), hanging around with friends.

When we are travelling, we love to discover the cities as the locals do. Talking with local is "a must do" to discover the small hidden things to do. Even tough, Morgane always has a map in the hands (that she turns around in each street corner)
We love to just grab some food and eat it in a nice spot, find an unexpected party or concert. But let's be honest, we love as well playing the tourist and see the sightseeing =)

Music, Movies, and Books

Morgane
Thriller, historical, or novel, I read a lot of books. Usually if I start a new writer and I like him, I read many many of his book and when I m fed up... I start again with a new one !

Joana
Having a bookseller mother really made me read all I could catch in front of me, I don't really have a favorite style or author, I just really love the reading experience in general!

We watch a lot of movies too !!
As for the books, we like different kind : drama, comedy, thriller, action, musical, and... TV show !

Example?.. This last few weeks we've watched: "inch'allah", "I'm so excited", "Two mothers", "The great Gatsby", "No", "The Borgias -season 3", "les petits mouchoirs", etc.

Question very difficult to answer. I guess that life is made of daily little amazing things!
