ABOUT ME

Hi :) My name is Joana and I'm half Chinese half Portuguese. I am a very cool and relaxed person and usually I am in a very good mood. Smiling and happy, that is me.
I love languages and my ability to communicate with people from other countries in their own language. I am a perfectionist, if I must do something I better do it the best I can.
I LOVE food, and of course I love to cook (only Mediterranean, no Chinese, unfortunately I never learned how)
I am too honest and outspoken, keeping things in my heart is not for me. I like to live a light and joyful life haha I Love to meet new people and to be in a new place and it's kind of hard for me to stay anywhere for too long.
NATURE. I love to be in the middle of nowhere :)
Mountain, forest, waterfall, river, beach ... one of the things I love the most to do are road trips ( though I don't drive, and who knows if I ever will ...)
Other things that I love, massage_ it always came natural to me and I love to touch people. Photography is one of my passions especially because my dad is a pro so it comes in the blood. I LOVE MUSIC, from electronic to chill, Balkan music, Orchestras, Classical, music of the world... I Love Music!
I don't like to watch TV, but a nice film or documentary I can appreciate.
I used to party a lot but "party animal" is kind of hibernating ... and I am now taking my time just doing more normal things. Shows, Plays, Gigs, knowing the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by the thought that life is there to be enjoyed. There is always a bright side in everything so open your eyes and see it. Making people around me feel good is a priority in my life and in everything I do. Your body is your temple so treat it well. More and more I am developing an interest in taking care of my body and mind. Live healthy and be happy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about this website little before coming to Mexico. I did a profile and started to look for hosts around. Unexpectidly I found hosts almost everywhere and wow, how amazing, welcoming and truly wonderful they were!! So, I could not be happier with my couchsurfing experience in Mexico :)
