About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to start to set up my life in Europe and finish my studies

ABOUT ME

I really love sports and music. My favorite sport is basketball, but I can play also football, handball, volleyball, gymanstics,...
Sometimes I sing with my friends. We have a group name (After foundation)and we sing songs like reggae music, rap, hiphop, soul, etc.
I really love to be with my girlfriend. She comes from Austria and we were living together in Vienna for one year (2009/10). After that I went back to Guadeloupe to continue my studies and be with my family. Now I am back in Europe and I want to continue my studies in Montpellier (France).

PHILOSOPHY

I have an open heart. That means I like the people from all religions and different ways of thinking. I respect people and I want to be respected.

I am a vegetarian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am still on holidays in Austria, but on the 29th of August I will arrive in Montpellier. I don't know anybody there and I still need to find a room to rent for the university year. I would really love to meet new people over the couchsurfing platform. Maybe I can find contact to nice people that can give me useful advices for Montpellier and want to spend some time with me. It would also be great to find a couch for some days in September.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have already hosted friends from Europe at my place in Guadeloupe. It was a nice experience. Last summer I was "couchsurfing" at friends places. Me and my girlfriend did interrail and surfed in Barcelona, Rodez (France), Bordeaux and Paris. I like the idea of couchsurfing, but I am still new to the couchsurfing community.

When I arrived in Austria two weeks ago Marianna and Peter hosted my girlfriend and me at their place in Schwechat. They are also on couchsurfing. It was really nice with them. This was my first couchsurfing experience with people from the network.

Interests

I am interested in a simple life style.

I love the nature. This year I made coconut oil and cacao on my own. I really love the river and the sea. I like the atmosphere of the zion (wilderness).

I love to play with children, to teach them all the things I know because they are the adults of tomorrow. I have a lot of nieces and nephews in Guadeloupe and France and I love them all as if they were my own children.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To spent one year in Austria where I got to know a completely new culture and language. The two most incredible things for me were to pass the exams for the austrian driving license in german and english and to take a picture with Jah Mason at his concert in Vienna.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I could teach is a happy lifestyle, the créole language, how to repair a bicycle, how to make songs (reggae, dance hall, rap), teach basketball, football, how to make coconut oil, pudding from sweet potatoes, dishes with plantain, dishes with soya, dishes with codfish.

What I would like to learn is new languages (Japanese, Spanish, Arabic), how to drive a motor cycle, how to study more efficiently, learn how to cook new vegetarian dishes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Dominica, France, Martinique, Spain
