I'm Jo, I'm 24 and from London. I'm currently travelling around Latin America for a couple of months on my own. I have a brief couple weeks in California where I'll be able to understand what's going on and flush toilet paper - very exciting stuff! I'm your typical traveller really, I like museums, architecture, sitting somewhere beautiful and reading, I've even recently taken to hiking when the place I'm in calls for it... I never thought I'd say that. I think I'm hilarious and I love puns, wordplay and gin. There has to be a reason gin autocorrects to fun, eh?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So usually you'll find me in a hostel dorm room searching on trip advisor for somewhere to eat that's good. That's all well and good but it's so much better to get this information from someone who's lived it! I travel solo quite a bit so I guess it's also quite nice to have some time not to yourself... My mother would not approve of this, but who got anywhere without breaking the rules?!

Music, Movies, and Books

If a book has been made into a film, I will always read the book first. Crime thrillers, Lord of the rings (over and over again) and occasionally the soppy tearjerkers. I'm more into TV than film because I usually get distracted or fall asleep when watching films... Music - I like hardcore, punk, metal, Justin Beiber (half wish I was joking with the last one)

Voluntary work with animals in Costa Rica, that was pretty cool. (Turtles, sloths, monkeys... Not all at the same time)
