To truly understand a place, I believe it is important to understand its people. I can't think of a better way of doing that than by staying with them - sharing their lives, learning about what makes them tick, their problems and what makes them feel at home.

I got lost in a strange city and had to persuade a drunk man (who didn't know English) to help me out. It wasn't amazing as much as it was terrifying but it's something I won't ever forget.
