Traveling must be in my bones. When I was little my Dad was in the US Air Force and we moved almost every year. Since we've lived in Rockford I've taken the opportunity to pursue my bachelor's in communication, read all the time, and reach out to expatriates and foreign nationals. Different cultures, especially languages, have fascinated me for as long as I can remember.

I'm a Christian, a photographer, a big sister, and a seamstress.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a fan of travel, but I'm not a fan of tourism. Old places and museums are great growth and education opportunities, but for me it is all about the people. More than anything I want to meet the people who live day in and day out in these places and get their perspectives and recommendations.

It's also and economical way to travel the globe, which means I can do it more often and meet even more people.
