ABOUT ME

I like to think that I'm a nice person with good sense of humor :) I'm friendly, outgoing, full of energy, even fuller of ideas, kind to people and understanding when it comes to views, beliefs, ways of life. I always want to learn more, and more, and more... Not just from books - life's the best teacher, and there's no life without other people. I love chatting, discussing, exchanging views, experience and ideas. One thing I never discuss is politics - there are too many conflicts on it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to have conditions for hosting but this is impossible in my present tiny flat. I hope this changes within 1 year. I look for ways to meet travellers from near and far away.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Both as Surfer and Host. Met cool people! I made great friends thanks to flat sharing.

Interests

Books (anything!), poetry, music (anything sensible, I love good music videos too), outdoor sports (I like lots of movement, don't like to use physical strength), movies, languages, history (discovering what's forgotten and disregarded), Warsaw (its beauty and its secrets, I love to show it to others), travels (discovering places and adding them to my personal map), mountains (I love hiking, the views, the fresh air), scrabble (love playing in any language I know), sailing, hiking / walking, chocolate (a real chocolate monster!:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: A Man Who Cried, Shame, Snatch, Into the Wild, The Reader, Painted Veil, Inception, Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Fight Club, Monty Python (!) and many more. When I was a child, I was a fan of Die Hard, Terminator and Batman :))

Series: Mad Men, A Game of Thrones, Mildred Pierce and also many anime series (if you know what that is ;)

Books: Margaret Atwood, GRR Martin, Kazuo Ishiguro and many, many more. I like reading novels, biographies, historical books. I used to be a big fan of Andre Norton and Anne MacCafrey when I was younger.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never close your eyes on new experience, always take things that are coming in your direction! Every single thing you learn makes you more complete - and more greedy ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Enthusiasm, optimism and energy. Stories about my homeland and other places. Experience and what I learn from it. Travelling advice and passion for more and more travels, tips and tricks for inexpensive and efficient travelling. Sense of humor and lots of laughter. And yes, the thing everyone eventually asks for... Polish vodka ;)
