I've been back and forth between North and South America a lot in the past few years, but right now I'm calling the SF bay area home. I like to balance work and play. So its great I have fun jobs as a sailing instructor and cacao brokerish.

Recently I've been listening to an eclectic mix that includes Beats Antique, Brother Clulture, Modest Mouse, Mellow Mood, Built to Spill, LYNX, jack Johnson, Black Keys, Deer Tick, My Morning Jacket, Dr. Dog among other things.
Books that come to mind, cosmic serpent by Jeremy narby, collaps by Jared diamond, tortilla flat by John Steinbeck (anything by John Steinbeck), journey to the east by Herman Hesse, stuff by Carlos casteneda
I really enjoyed the movie 180 degrees south

I can teach you something about sailing. If you visit me in the bay area we'll definatly go sailing!

I would like to learn Portuguese. And maybe some insight into mechanical engineering.
