ABOUT ME

Hello world! My name is Joanna, but just call me Asia (pronounced Asha) as all of my friends do :) I am very friendly and open-minded person willing to meet others from all over the world. Very talkative when there is opportunity to be so, but most of all a good listener. Loving to meet new people and places, learn new cultures, tastes, sounds and views. Smiling and laughing a lot :)

PHILOSOPHY

In ten years, you will regret only things left undone, not the ones you have done!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am just a beginner on CS, but I have already heard a lot of great stories about the idea of CS form my friends, which is why I decided to join :)

Interessi

Finland with its language and culture has definitely a big place in my heart and a big part of my life. I come back there whenever I can and I can talk for hours about its beauty, forests, astonishing lakes and of course northern lights. It is not my only interest, though. I love music, reading books and cooking and most of all, long discussions about everything. I used to study psychology, too :) Travelling is for sure my favourite way to have some rest from everyday troubles. I love to walk around new places with a map, take pictures of beautiful/strange/surprising things and breathe the atmosphere of the place I am currently in.

Movies: I enjoy good movies that make me think of the meaning long after I have seen them. I especially like Almodovar's and Xavier Dolan's movies and the best movie I have seen recently is definitely Intouchables!
Books: I love to read, though I do not have much time for it. I am in love with Lisbeth Salander and Songs of Ice and Fire, currently reading some Finnish books I have bought during my last trip.
