ABOUT ME

My name is Joanna but you can call me Asia as well (a shortcut in Polish!).
I'm Polish in my veins, Latina in my heart 😊 I've been living in Barcelona now for some time and I love every minute of it.
I love being in the nature, activly spending my time-dancing, hiking, cycling. Bike as the mean of transport 🚲❤️ big fan of morning coffees (actually anytime is good 😁), good&local food, cine, self-development and of course travelling and meeting new people and cultures.

PHILOSOPHY
We need to be a bit inappropriate and follow our own path. I have a great respect to the nature. I try not to complicate life as it usually is enough crazy, so no dramas. I believe in karma- treat others as you would like to be treated. Balance is the key in any aspect of life.

It's better to have loved and lost than never have loved at all.

I'd rather regret the things I have done than the things that I haven't.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted and I was hosted several times. Always it was a great pleasure. I met hospitable people as hosts and I hosted some nice travelers as well. Generally, it was always a great experience.

Like above. Usually my experiences were good. Especially those emergency ones. Thank you all guys for help :)

Intereses

I hate being bored, staying long time in one place. I can rest for a while but later I know I have to keep on going with something. That's why I am trying to travel whenever it is possible. Beside this, I love meeting new people, sharing ideas and thoughts with them. I want learning new cultures, places. I believe that from every meeting we can learn new things or at least it helps us look on us or world from other perspective.

Música, películas y libros

I love, purely love live music and any kind of cultural events. Cinema, theatre, opera, music, dance, books.

I can't imagine my world without music. Totally. It share all moments with me. I listen to almost all kind of music. From rock, reggae, indie, jazz, funky, blues, instrumental to salsa and bachata.

Big fan of string instruments, drums and saxo.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can share my energy with you. We can spend great time in opera, theatre, cinema. We can take a walk, go swimming in the river or ice skating:) We can travel together and discover new places. I can teach you Polish, English or Spanish. I can make picnic with you. Go cicle to the forest.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Good craic which means a lot of fun. The thing which I can promise to my hosts is that I won't be a pain in the ass for you. I can organize my time and I don't need to be always showed around. I can participate in any activities (reasonable ones;p) my hosts will offer to me as well.
