ABOUT ME

Hello!

I am Joanne, a Malaysian Chinese who's living in Norway now.
Positive, cheerful, friendly, crazy, funny, random are words you will often hear about me! :P

I love traveling (really experiencing the culture, not just being there and taking pictures with those touristy places) and adventure! I don't like to plan my journey in a tight schedule, I love surprises and not rushing to tourist spot every single minute. I take thing at a time according to the flow of life, enjoying and appreciate every little things in life. I am a coffee, cake and chocolate lover! Interesting enough, I love the ocean, think I belong to the sea but I can't swim.

I enjoy meeting new people (I like talking to random people on the street), making new friends, talking about life, sharing culture, experiences and love. Most of the time, I enjoyed cooking, baking and hand craft (I love to make things pretty!).

My ultimate goal is to have my cafe which shows people a lot of culture and serving good coffee from all around the world as well as desert that can bring happiness to others. I'm collecting ideas now, share with me your idea and who knows what will happen in the future?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's amazing and I wish to host people from around the world but now I am unable to do so as I'm sharing a room with 3 girls. Anyway, I am free for coffee and I can show you around Oslo!

I like different kinds of musics at different point of time and life. One thing has never changed is my interest in oldies.

I can teach you Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese) if you are interested. I used to play flute, might still be able to share, let's see.

I am happy to share my culture for sure, my experience and stories, as well as perspectives on life.

There's so many things I want to learn, new language, new culture, philosophy of life, inspiration and more. I believe everyone is unique and I can always learn something from you.
