I am crazy about cycling. Started seriously (i.e bought a my first road bike) in 2014 and I now just can't cycle enough. I thought I was content just going as fast as I could everywhere but soon realised that I was missing out on all the wonderful things the world wants me to see so now I'm an adventure cyclist or a 'sports tourer'. I take immense enjoyment from planning routes, finding all the best things to photograph on the way and meeting people, keeping fit and eating well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because sometimes my adventures take me too far from home. The further the better. Plus I love the ethos of counchsurfing - helping people out and people helping you out. Wonderful idea.

I am happy to host also. I share with one flatmate so I'd need to liaise with him first. I have a small dog. As I'm a cyclist, I have a bike friendly household.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled to Paris and back when I first started cycling to raise money for my friend who had cancer. I knew nothing about how to do that trip properly. I was proper knackered.
