To travel for six weeks and immerse myself in creative exploration.

ABOUT ME

I am an artist, the mother of a 20 year old daughter who just flew the coop. I spend 4 days a week working in a mental health organization where I incorporate education and the arts together to help people in recovery. I love making art and being inspired by other creative individuals. A lot of my time outside of work is spent with my friends. I live in the amazing landscape of Northwestern Ontario and try to enjoy it whenever I can. The best part is living in a town on the big lake of Superior. I love road trips, listening to a wide range of music and collecting for future arts projects. I am taking a six week leave of absence in January and taking off for an Road trip adventure in my 12 year old Mazda...with snow tires.

PHILOSOPHY

For today my philosophy is have compassiion for yourself first so you can have compassion for others and pay attention to all your senses so you can feel the intensity and rapture of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not sure what this means but I look forward to participating to couch surfing, meeting and sharing with new people of all walks of life! I live in an home that is over 100 years old close to Lake Superior. I have a spare bedroom with a double bed for visitors.

I love spontanious adventures, making art, listening to a music, camping, road trips, being outside in northern ontario, social justice, art galleries, live music, Frisbee golf, hanging with my friends, going to parties and eating great food. Wine is good too.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Waking up in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park at 6 in the morning in February and going for a ski - knowing I was the only one in the park besides my friends. I came across a huge buck and his mate. He started to charge up the hill towards me and then suddenly took a left turn into the bush. I was terrified and exhilarated all in the same moment.
