ABOUT ME

I am traveling with my younger sister Carrie from Southern California. She has traveled the World and likes to meet new people and learn about their area.

Living in Southeast Alaska I've had many unique opportunities such as working at a submarine base, a fishing resort, and cooking at a mining camp, as well as relating to the hundreds of thousands of Cruise Ship Tourist that visit the area.

My husband I owned a house in Normandy France for a number of years and enjoyed spending some summers there.
My friends and family would describe me as outgoing, talkative, makes friends easily and have lived a very interesting life. I am still living in a remote area of Alaska only accessed by plane or boat.

My grandchildren recently spent a summer couch surfing around the world and had nothing but wonderful things to say about the people and places they visited.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new member to couchsurfing.org. I have done quite a bit of hosteling in Europe and the United States.

My sister from Carlsbad, California has many of her own stories of Southern California, as well other experiences from her travels!
