ABOUT ME
We are two young English teachers (for now anyway) living in Almaty Kazakhstan. Our current interests include learning Russian and Kazakh, exploring Almaty, eating unidentified meats and rather disgusting pickled Kazakh salads, watching tacky American infomercials dubbed into Russian on TV and trying to get basic appliances in our post-Soviet flat to work.
We'd love to meet new people (there doesn't seem to be too many travellers passing by this part of the world). So come share your stories with us!
