ABOUT ME

An Ecological, yoga fanatical female! I love learning and hearing of new ways we are preserving and making sustainable living projects work for our wee planet. I also love food and discovering new local delicacies, artisans or ingredients.

I'm certainly not adversed to a good party, though my wilder days are firmly behind me. These days I prefer more day time activities like surfing, art, yoga and cycling.

PHILOSOPHY

You only have one life so fill it with as much beauty, honesty and richness as you can.

Keep your mind as open as you can to changing it and never be fearful of falling, for all learning gives more than it could ever take away.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only positive experiences of couch surfing and I love this concept of an open community of travellers and just really good people open to sharing there homes and minds with others. What a beautiful thing.

I love the little things, a moment of complete kindness and beauty, like an epical sunset or a person helping another to cross the road. Yeah, I'm a little bit soppy, and I intend to stay so!

On a grander level I love trekking and being in nature. I have gone trekking in the nepal without a guide for a week back in 2010. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful sights of my life.
Then just recently I went trekking for 6 days on The Great Ocean Walk of Victoria. Being a self sustainable trekker for that time, with no sight nearly of a vehicle, person and even electricity cables or such, was glorious!! Never before have I been such an independent traveller, and those views of empty beaches will stay in my memory for a lifetime.

On a different note all together I spent a year in India before learning more about yoga, the culture and most certainly myself.

As a yogini I want to share my love for this beautiful system of maintaining a healthy body, mind and spirit with everyone. EVERYONE can benefit from the rewards of a practice and this passion is something I will share with the world. I know we are all different and I am open to hear how it may not be for you and what works for you instead. Its passions that keep this world going, not just the greed and bad things so I would love to hear what inspires you.

I love learning- from philosophy to new cooking recipes so I look forward to sharing this with the couch surfing community.
