About Me

In my past life I have worked in advertising agencies (my title was media strategist) and most recently finished a stint as an English teacher in South Korean public schools. I'm now traveling with my husband, John. You might catch us together at meet ups and Couchsurfing hangouts.

This obviously means that although it's awesome to be moving around so much, we are unable to host anyone so I hope we get a chance to meet up!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet locals or fellow travelers at my destinations with the same passion for food and culture. Hoping to exchange travel tips and get into adventures along the way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went white water tubing in the middle of a thunderstorm at Pangi River in Philippines (google it). Looking back, it was a really dangerous idea, but I loved every minute of it.

Camping in the Arabian desert and waking up at dawn to shovel a hole in the sand (not as easy as you'd think) for the bathroom.

Crashed my bike into an empty restaurant in Da Nang, I was okay... but lesson learned.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English, basic wine pairings, and even thought I'd rather not, the inner-workings of advertising.

I'd love to learn more about wine, programming (learning REACT right now) and curse words in foreign languages.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of laughs and stories. Perhaps a round of drinks on me if I really like you :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Croatia, Georgia, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
