Hi, I'm João!

I am 26 years old and I am a graphic designer from Brazil.
I am currently living in Belo Horizonte, the capital of the state of Minas Gerais.

I lived one year in Spain and that was when I became a travel addicted. =D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy knowing people from others places! I want to now how things works in your city, how is the food, what are the typical musics, that is, learning about new cultures. And of course, to explain how it is in my country.

Interests

I spend my free time watching movies, hanging out, cooking and drinking with friends. I enjoy to learn new stuff, mainly handmade things. For now I am trying to learn brush pen calligraphy, how to play a trumpet and how to ride a longboard!
I love good beers and I am always looking for try new ones and learn more about the universe, but I confess I am easily persuaded by the labels!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drive 1100 km from Bilbao to Cádiz in one night with my friends and then travel around Andalucía, Murcia and Valencia knowing the amazing culture of the south and east of Spain.

Sleep one night at Morocco desert and know a bit about the Tuareg culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking, photography, calligraphy, painting, dancing, music.. even though I still have a lot to learn in everything. We could try any of this skills and learn more together.
