About Me

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/joaoostrowski
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/johnostrowski/

Professionally speaking:
I'm finishing Mechanical Engineer and working with Business Analytics. Just another nerd traveler, in fancy words, a digital nomad. Please note that I've been very busy, home office sounds like a dream job but in reality, this means you getting calls up to 10 pm from your boss, so please understand if I can't walk around and you in the city exploration.

My routine:
I read on a daily basis and consume a lot of content through podcasts, you will see this routine I assure you.
My workout routine is very important to me, it keeps me disciplined sharp. With the workout comes the diet, I'm such a healthy guy really. My kitchen looks a lot like a pharmacy with a bunch of protein powder all around, I love to discuss about dieting and nutrition but you need to ask about it first, I get too nerdy sometimes.
During workdays, my schedule is usually from 8am to 4pm. It is flexible yes it is but I try to keep it up.

In short, I love Couchsurfing, I really do. If we make plans around my daily schedule, perfect let's do it! If we can't house is open go explore I will give you tips but you know we're all hustling trying to reach those life goals :)

Fun Facts about Ostrowski:
I don't drink, I don't eat junk food, so I'm your sober friend carrying a water bottle who can take care of you after couple drinks, it happens more frequently than you think ok haha.
I like exploring big cities, the kind of person who when in Vegas keep walking around every floor of hotels instead of going for game and booze, I might have done that, I might have crazy stories about sleeping on Ceasars Palace Parking lot, who knows?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, digital nomad, traveler nerd, concrete jungle explorer whatever you name it. I just want to explore, if you could help me, you're part of my story!

Music, Movies, and Books

This part goes crazy for me, I listen everything, from hip hop to Brazilian funk, from XXXTentacion sad boys to Tibetan Monks Mantra.

One think I love doing with new friends is sharing popular music from our countries, I assure you it's totally fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

Two things I love teaching and helping others:

1. Dieting strategies/ Work Out Plans/ Be a gym freak like me:
I could introduce you basic metabolism calculations for burning those unwanted pounds or putting some muscle mass on for the summer! That with dieting plan, with total calories and correct distribution of macronutrients to nourish your body in the right way! Apart from nutrition, I could help you making work out plans to get the most of your time at the gym. As I said, I'm a gym enthusiast, embrace a healthy life with me!

2. Python Programming:
Even though I'm finishing mechanical engineering I've been working with programming for quite some time, a hobby that became a passion. So I could teach you the very basics of algorithms and how the language works, python is great to start with believe me. By showing you how I started, which apps and websites I used and still use will be a great way for "Hello world!"

3. Books and self-development:
I'm a productivity enthusiast you know. Always reading those self-development books that usually our parents are reading in later ages, yeah that's John. But really, if you feel like you struggle with time management or similar, bring it up to the conversation if you're open to suggestions I will definitely share my references and best practices.
