About Me

Hello!
My name is Joao Paulo, I am a civil engineering, working in my family business. I've been working on engineering, construction, and real estate projects for over the last ten years.
My favorite hobbies are music, books, and art. I really like sports, going out, making new friends.
Honesty, truth, and respect are the qualities I seek most.

Ora, so in una nuova esperienza di vita, cercando di iniziare una nuova vita in Italia.
Ci sono voluti più di dieci ani per fare questo passo.
Sono motivato e interessato a rendere questa una grande esperienza.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really appreciate arts in general terms.
I'm a bass player and so some singing.
Because of this, I'm used to listen to a lot of music:
Pearl Jam, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Kings of Leon, System of a Down.
I'm learning some italian music as well: Modà, Pooh, Rafael Gualazzi.

As for my books, I finished "On the Road - Jack Kerouac", "Sapiens - A Brief Story from Mankind" and I'm on "Brothers Karamazov" from Dostoievsky.
If we stop to talk about music, books, or movies, certainly we are going to have a good conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Business experience in New York.
It was amazing doing business in that amazing place.

Also, my experience in Angola. (I must mention two experiences, there is no other way,)
I think that one thing I've done beautifully was the period I've worked in Africa.
It was a great experience when I was able to see the cultural difference and needs of that people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

“Le nostre valigie logore stavano di nuovo ammucchiate sul marciapiede; avevano altro e più lungo cammino da percorrere. Ma non importa, la strada è vita” (Jack Kerouac, “Sulla Strada“)

We can enjoy the moments, and a good conversation...
I am VERY flexible!
In the same way we can have a beer, meal and wine together, that would be fine as well if the host prefers to have privacy.
Again, in the same way we can enjoy a great conversation at home or with friends, I would enjoy to be a great company for a party and a beer as well.
